The HAVI Announces Two New Members of Its Advisory Board and a New Member of Its Advancement Council

April 10, 2023 — Today the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (the HAVI) announced the addition of two new members to its Advisory Board—Selwyn Rogers Jr., MD, MPH, FACS, with University of Chicago Medicine and Jerome Carter—as well as the addition of a new member to its Advancement Council, Lauren Collins with IDEO, a global design and innovation firm.

“We are thrilled to welcome the newest members of our Advisory Board and Advancement Council and the wealth of expertise and wisdom they will bring to the organization,” said Fatimah Loren Dreier, Executive Director of the HAVI. “Our new Advisory Board members will play a critical role in the HAVI’s ongoing strategic planning process, which will guide our rapidly growing organization as we transition into our next phase of achievement and impact. Of course, the tremendous growth we are experiencing would not be possible without the support of our Advancement Council, and our newest member brings invaluable insight and connections that will help steer our ambitious fundraising goals and allow us to continue to expand the HAVI’s impact nationwide.”
