Health systems and public health departments play a critical role in the community violence intervention (CVI) ecosystem. To be effective partners in reducing and addressing violence in communities, health systems can make essential investments across four domains: organizational culture, data integration, programs, and partnerships.
Our first HAVI Town Hall of 2026 will explore the importance of health system contributions and practical steps toward becoming a “CVI-ready” hospital.
We will be joined by HAVI Executive Director Fatimah Loren Dreier for opening remarks, followed by a conversation with health system leaders advancing this work in practice.
