Webinar #2 - When the Healer Hurts: Strengthening Resilience in the Face of Grief and Loss
This is the second webinar in a series hosted by the HAVI - “Stronger Together on the Frontline: HAVI Forums for the Field.”
This webinar invites frontline workers, supervisors, and organizations to explore grief and loss in a way that honors the reality that healing is a journey, and not something we simply “get over.” Together, we’ll talk about the quiet emotional weight of the work, the silent cries and dry tears, and how we recognize it, carry it, and navigate our way through it.
This webinar is about adding tools to your toolbox. We’ll share practical tools, and cultural wisdom and grounding practices, recognizing that strength, healing, and perseverance have always existed in our communities. We’ll also learn ways to reconnect with purpose, compassion, and support, while creating a space where you have permission to feel what you’re feeling and care for yourself along the way.
Because of the nature of this conversation, we encourage you to practice gentle self-care before joining:
Have water nearby
Bring a fidget or grounding object if helpful
Take a few moments to settle your body and breath
This webinar is about understanding the journey, honoring the weight we carry, and reconnecting with what keeps us grounded in our purpose, especially when the work feels heavy.
